When the pandemic hit Canada in March of 2020, I was staying in my Airstream at the Salish Seaside RV Haven in Esquimalt, just across the bay from downtown Victoria. Ferries pulled back on their schedules (or stopped running altogether) and no new visitors would be allowed in the RV park. What was originally intended as a short visit turned into 8 months of calling Vancouver Island home. Although it was a very strange and unpredictable time, I was grateful to have been part of such a beautiful and welcoming community. Here are just a few images from my time in Victoria….
