US Hwy 50: Middlegate Station
Heading east out of Fallon, my first stop along Nevada Highway 50 was Middlegate Station. It was a Pony Express station for a short time in the 1860s & still serves cold drinks & hot food, including their famous 'Monster Burger.'
Besides having a meal & a drink, visitors can fuel up & spend the night before continuing along.
Overnight parking on the property is free!
